Week 4: Experience of migrants
Learning Intention: We are learning to understand the perspectives & experiences of post war migrants to Australia, from Europe or Asia.
Use this website to research a migrant's experience.
You need to make a one page profile about your chosen migrant:
- Country of birth
- Year of migration
- Reason for migration
- Transport into Australia
- Write a paragraph or two outlining the person’s story. (Using own words!)
Present your work on your iPad using any app you like... Book Creator, Pic Collage or Pages might be good.
Week 2 - 3: Where are we from?
On your copy of the World Map, locate a country or city where a Grade 6 family has originally migrated from.
Label the city and the person whose family was from there.
