Instructions:
On your turn, you may roll the dice 1 or 2 times. You may stop and score after your first roll or after your second roll. After your first roll, set any dice aside that you would like to keep ("keepers"). You will not roll any of the "keepers" on your second roll.
Once you have finished rolling, you need to enter something on your score card. What number can you make with your dice, that fits somewhere on your score card? If you cannot fit that number ANYWHERE on your game-card you will need to put an X next to a category that is still empty on your score card. |

20 Word Reflection: You have exactly 20 words (no more and no less!) with which to explain and reflect on your learning in Maths today. This could be a list of small phrases, like "three unsuccessful attempts", "finally: success!", or "many possible answers". Alternatively you could write a 20 word sentence. Try to use appropriate vocabulary in your 20 words (HINT: 20 words that somehow reflect back to the Learning Intention and/or Success Criteria would be a FABULOUS idea!) 😉
Thursday 9th February:
Learning Intention: We are learning to compare and order decimal numbers.
Success Criteria: I can use my knowledge of place value to explain which decimal number is bigger.

Group 1: Highest/Lowest: Maddie, Erika, Jack, Suzhanna, Kirsten, Grace, Tom, Brock, Alyssa, Tahlia, Curtis, Nakita, Jayden, Ashlee & Abigail.
With your partner, play a decimal version of highest/lowest (like we played in today's warm up!). Remember: You don't know if it's the highest or the lowest number that's going to win until you flip the coin at the end! Don't forget to compare your number with your partners after each round, eg: 0.453 > 0.435
